Tonight's Mood: Tuesday Racedays that never eventuate.
Today was Tuesday adventure day with a twist, It was Melbourne Cup day, for those in other countries this is like out BIGGEST day of horse racing kinda like the Kentucky Derby or the Grand National, if this is still unclear just think big hats, macthing hangbags, champers and horses.
The plan was to meet at noon and go to the track or perhaps a good pub that was filled with people who wern't totally shit. As always we got sidtracked, so while looking stunnning and cute and edible (I'll explain the outfits in detail later) we shopped, and ate and shopped and therfore missed the race. I don't even know who won. But you know what, I don't care!

We looked impossibly cute. Like girls out of a fairytale. Sometimes it hurts me I really wish there were others who made such an effort in my city, but all I do it read online adventures of those in other cities and lament. I guess we ARE that group in out city and today we deciced we should start documenting it.
We bought lovely kiddie beads. Good ones though, made of pearly stars in pink and lavender. Buttons and records. I bought a lovely pair of pink lighting bolt earrings and a shirt that is pale blue with "smilesalot" written on it and above the letter i is a star!
We leave each other on Tuesday so content with yummy candy and bellies full of loving, Of loving conversation and affectionate glances, of gigglesand sighs and playful twirling of out skirts.
And for all the boys and girls who have ever put us down or rejected us. You know what, they can have it all, they can have their shit band and their girlfriend who pretends to like the same bands as them, their girlfriends who work all week and then don't even play good on the w/e, their girlfriends who worry about their weight yet still drink too much.......
